With the older PAS8 satellite updated to the new IntelSat 5 now Australia Network and BBC World News are available free to air using only a 1.2m C Band satellite dish.
You no longer need a huge 2.4m dish in your back yard. The 1.2m solid petal dish can either be pole or ground mounted. See the link for more details.
